In the
market for a reliable pre-owned vehicle?
Want
access to 15,000+ cars/week, all makes,
models and price ranges?
We are introducing
Bid Like A Dealer, a new and exciting way to purchase
your next vehicle. With Bid Like A
Dealer, we provide
proxy access to exclusive "dealer-only"
auctions. Dealer-only auctions are
the primary way auto dealers rotate large
volumes of inventory.
These vehicles are typically recent trade-in,
just off-lease or otherwise newly acquired. Some have
condition reports, many have warranties or are
certified and are detailed to show room
condition. Each week, we spotlight
carefully selected cars based on consumer-driven preferences. With
Bid Like a Dealer, you can
remotely bid on any of these vehicles
through our access, with peace-of-mind
knowledge that you will
be bidding on a quality vehicle.
How does this
work?

These guys were great. On Monday I
told them what I was looking for,
what I wanted in it, how much I
wanted to pay, and that I needed it
right away because I had just
wrecked my old car. They found the
car I was looking for
and delivered it to me on Friday,
for the amount agreed upon, which
was $4,500 below any other dealer's
price on that same car, and even
took away my wrecked car. They are
unlike any car dealers I've ever
dealt with. Thank you so much!

Frequently
asked questions:
1. What are
the benefits?
Generally,
winning bids at dealer-only auctions are
well below typical lot retail prices. You also
can have peace of mind that you are
bidding on a quality vehicle. You can also
take pride in getting the car you wanted at the
price you established, against hundreds of dealers.
2. How
are payments handled?
a. 10% down must be via certified funds payable
to That’s My New Car.com. Certified funds
include: a bank check, payment through
PayPal, or a wire transfer. Funds must be
received no later than Wed @4pm EST., for that week's sale. You will
know when the actual sale is.
b. Financing for the balance must be
provided to us within 5 working days of
notification of purchase.
c. We can help secure financing for those
who qualify.
d. Down payment funds are forfeited if you
cannot/do not timely follow through with
actual purchase of the vehicle we purchase
that we "won the bid" for.
e. Your funds will be returned if we are out-bid at the
dealer-only auction or you may apply them
to
another car’s down payment.
3. What are
condition reports and are they available for
each car at the used car auction?
Condition reports have detailed information
about the cars. Each report lists the car's
options including items like premium audio
equipment, type of interior, remote access,
type and tread depth of each tire, current
fuel level and other important
decision-helping information. We only
spotlight cars with good condition reports.
4. How do I
get title to the car?
a. Once the car is paid for in full, PA
residents must pay taxes and transfer fees
before the title can be transferred. The
Department of Motor Vehicles will then send the title once
all taxes and fees are paid.
b. Non-PA Residents will receive the title
after the car is paid for in full, but will
be responsible for sending the title to
their own State for
payment of transfer fees and/or taxes.

Just wanted to say a special thank
you for everything you've done for
us. We are very pleased. We can't
find one thing we don't like about
it, so you get an A+ for a job well
done.
We got a newer and better car than
we expected, for less than we
thought we'd pay for an older model.

5. Do you
take trade-in’s?
We can accept
trade-ins, but can provide an offer only
after our service center inspects your
vehicle. We cannot offer "inflated" trade-in
values (like those found at typical
dealerships) because we are already offering
significantly reduced pricing on your new
car via this special auction-access process.
You might be able to get a higher price if
you sell your car directly, but we don't
insist on it.
6. What is
the bidding process?
When you see the car you want on the
spotlighted list, just follow the
link. All bidding is closed
at Wed. 12 noon
for that week's sale. If you win a bid, you
can raise your limit to help assure
acquisition of the vehicle, but we do not
accept a higher bid from other bidders after
the bid closure time.

7. How do I
get my vehicle?
Upon receipt of the balance of payment
(and PA resident payment for state taxes and tags) the title
will be yours. You can get your new car at
our service center,
or we can have it delivered it to you for a
delivery fee in about two days (out of state buyers may take longer).
8. When can I
see the new Spotlighted cars?
The website is continually updated.
The spotlighted cars are
updated every Sunday before the sale at the
latest.
9. What if I
want a car that isn’t spotlighted?
There are so many cars sold each week,
we can only select a few to spotlight, however
virtually any car you may be looking for will
be available at auction. If you want a full
or partial list of vehicles available at the
auction, fill out the
FindMYNewCar
Form and our staff will forward
the list to you.
It' been a pleasure working
with you! - Tony LaCava
10. Can I
attend the auction?
No. Dealer-only auctions are
limited to
Licensed Dealers only. Dealer IDs are
required. This is a major advantage over a
public-access type auction, where cars sold
typically go for retail price (or even
more.) At a dealer-only auction, you know
that dealers never pay retail, so why should
you.
