That's My
Philadelphia GMC.
If you are
looking for a GMC in the Philadelphia area,
this is the place for you. That's My New Car
offers a unique opportunity to buy a GMC at the dealer's only auto auctions.
The
dealer's only auctions are the primary way
that car dealers obtain and rotate
inventory.

Through the
auctions, you can bid on the cars, just as
if you were a dealer. By doing so, you take
advantage of buying a vehicle at a wholesale
price. Typically the wholesale price is
thousands below the lot retail price.
For instance, below is the average price for
a 2004 GMC Envoy on the lot at various local
Philadelphia GMC dealerships (taken
directly from their website) and the average
price for that very same car at auction.
2004 GMC
Envoy 4x4 SLT with 18,000 miles
Retail
price: $21,000
Auction
price: $18,000
That is a difference
of $3,000
You could
buy a 2006 GMC Envoy 4x4 SLT at a Philadelphia
GMC dealership and pay their
HUGE mark-up,
or you could buy a 2006 GMC at the
exclusive dealer's only auction (the very
same auction that this Philadelphia GMC
dealership will send their cars to) and
pay $3,000 less.
Basically, you can get a 2006 model year car
at a 2004 model year price.

These guys were great. On
Monday I told them what I was
looking for, what I wanted in
it, how much I wanted to pay,
and that I needed it right away
because I had just wrecked my
old car. They found the car I
was looking for and delivered it
to me on Friday, for the amount
agreed upon, which was $4,500
below any other dealer's price
on that same car, and even took
away my wrecked car. They are
unlike any car dealers I've ever
dealt with. Thank you so much.

At the
auction, there are about 15,000 cars that go
through a week. You can find
practically any year or model Toyota ever
made. Of course as the cars get older, the
savings are a little less. But, you still
buy at wholesale prices! Even with a ten
year old car, you can save a few thousand on
the purchase price.
Ok,
what
is the catch? Why doesn't every dealer
do this?
The answer is simple. Car dealers make so
much money on the mark-up of used cars,
there is no incentive to give the public a
break on the price. Most dealers have
hundreds of thousands if not millions of
dollars sitting on their lot. They have to
make some return on their money. They would
never buy a car just to break even.
Otherwise, they would not be in business.
Why
would any car dealer offer access to
dealer-only auctions? They do because
they realize that
you have specific wants and needs in the car
you are searching for. Just because
they have a GMC Sanoma on the lot, doesn't
mean that you want that specific GMC Sanoma. This gives you the opportunity to
get very specific about what you want and
find the exact car you are looking for,
instead of settling for another car, just
because it happens to be on the lot. Another
reason dealers should take this opportunity
to cater to the exact wants that you have,
is they don't have the huge capital outlay
on a car hoping that you come by to buy it,
and won't have to have as many cars on the
lot that may or may not sell.
Let us know which GMC you are looking for, and we'll
send an approximate price for that car at
auction. Because there are so many cars to
choose from, you can get very specific about
the options (color, interior, mileage
limit...). Get the car that you want, with
the options that you want, at a price that
you want. Just follow the link to the
Find My New
Car form, and we'll get back to you with
the price that particular car should go for
at auction.
Because we
are a Pennsylvania dealership with State
Inspection capabilities, we can inspect your
car with a new PA Inspection and Emissions.
We also offer up to a four year warranty,
that we pass along, at cost, for anyone that
desires to get one.
You can
have your car shipped directly to you,
anywhere in the US, for just the cost of
transporting it.
